Sonu Sood tests positive for COVID-19, quarantines himself
On Saturday, Sonu Sood confirmed testing positive for the novel Coronavirus. Currently, he is under home quarantine.
The second wave of Coronavirus has hit the world badly. Many celebrities from Bollywood have been testing positive for the last few months, the latest celebrity to contract the virus is Sonu Sood. The actor took to his social media handle and informed the fans about the same.
Sharing a note, Sonu Sood wrote: “Hello friends, I would like to inform you that my test for COVID-19 has come positive. So I’ve quarantined myself. Nothing to worry about, On the contrary, I will now have more time to fix your difficulties than ever before. Remember, any trouble. I’m always with you.”

Sonu Sood has been termed as a ‘messiah’ for his humanitarian work. During the COVID-19 lockdown last year, he arranged transport for the migrant workers who stuck away from their homes. The actor has been helping other needy people who have been contacting him for help.
On April 11, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh declared Sonu Sood as the Brand Ambassador of the Punjab Government for its Covid-19 vaccination program. The ‘Dabangg’ actor is also the brand ambassador of Sanjeevani – A Shot of Life which is a campaign aimed at creating and increasing awareness about vaccination against COVID-19.
