Actor-Director Tariq Shah Passes Away In Mumbai

Veteran actor-director Tariq Shah passes away in Mumbai today(April 3).  The cause of death was double pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, actress Shoma Anand and daughter Sarah. Tariq Shah and Shoma Anand got married in 1987.

Photographer Viral Bhayani shared the sad news on Twitter. He wrote, “Sad News. Actor-director Tariq Shah of serial “Kadwa Sach” and film “Janam Kundali” fame expired today morning at a private hospital in Mumbai.”

Tariq Shah’s last rites will be performed at Mumbai’s Yari Road on Saturday evening.

Tariq is known for his films like Bahaar Aane Tak, Mumbai Central, Ehsaas, Gumnaam Hai Koi. He has also directed films like Janam Kundli, Bahaar Aane Tak and has produced as well as directed Kadwa Sach.

As reported by sources, Traiq was suffering from kidney ailments for the past two years. He had been on Dialysis. He passed away at a private hospital in Mumbai on April 3, 2021.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.
