Dance Deewane 3: Sanya Malhotra recalls being rejected by Dharmesh Yelande

Sanya Malhotra’s Netflix film, ‘Pagglait released on March 26 and has been receiving positive responses from fans. The actress recently appeared on the dance reality show, ‘Dance Deewane 3’ to promote her film. During the episode, she recalled the time she was rejected by dance choreographer and judge Dharmesh Yelande in a dance audition.

In the promo video, the ‘Ludo’ actress is seen reciting the time she auditioned for a dance audition but was rejected because of Dharmesh. “Life has come a full circle for me today. Six years back, I had come to this studio for a dance-reality show audition and I did not clear it. And I remember, it was 1 a.m. in the night when I got free and I called my friend and said that I have not been able to get through and to come and pick me up. And you were there, Dharmesh sir. I was not able to clear it because of you. But now, I am here to promote my film,” said Sanya.

Dharmesh reacted and said that he thinks to when the actress left from the audition. He lauded her for moving on and achieving her dream that day, “You would have left with a lot of courage and determination that ‘Mujhe ab karke dikhana hai'”

On the work front, she also has ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’ which will also release on Netflix and stars Abhimanyu Dassani, son of former Bollywood actor Bhagyashree.
