Spicejet honors Sonu Sood for his philanthropic work during COVID-19 pandemic

Sonu Sood has been termed as the ‘Messiah of Migrants,’ as the actor has been helping the migrant workers amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The actor has also been arranging for transportation to take the migrant workers home while also providing food and other necessary amenities. The actor has been receiving appreciation for his selfless efforts from all quarters and still continues to extend his help to everyone.

On Friday, Spicejet’s Boeing 737 aircraft dedicated a special aircraft to honor the actor. While sharing the video, the airline wrote: “The phenomenally-talented @SonuSood has been a messiah to lakhs of Indians during the pandemic, helping them reunite with their loved ones, feed their families and more. While there is no apt way to thank him for his immense efforts, here is a small gesture from SpiceJet to acknowledge him and his amazing contributions. Introducing our one-of-its-kind Sonu Sood livery draped on Mustard, one of our lovely Boeing 737 aircraft. Thank you for everything, Sonu! You are an inspiration to us and many others, and we are proud to be your partners in your deeds of extraordinary compassion.”

Sonu Sood shared the photos of the aircraft on his social media handle to thank the airline and wrote, “Remember coming from Moga to Mumbai on an unreserved ticket. Thank you everyone for all the love. Miss my parents more.
