Duck Duck Go alleges Google of spying and collecting users data

Google recently updated its privacy labels on the Apple App Store. After months of delay, Google began to finally roll out updates for Gmail, Google Search and Chrome for iPhone users over the past few weeks. The app privacy labels showcased that these services are collecting users’ data. The rival search engine platform, Duck Duck Go has now alleged Google of spying and collecting users’ data.

Duck Duck Go shares how this American-based tech giant collects users’ data through apps. Duck Duck Go took to its official Twitter handle and shared that spying on the users has nothing to do with building a great web browser or search engine. In a tweet post, it has also posted an image revealing Google’s updated privacy labels. 

After months of stalling, Google finally revealed how much personal data they collect in Chrome and the Google app. No wonder they wanted to hide it.
