Billboard Charts: Drake debuts three songs in Hot 100, becomes first artist
Drake becomes the first artist to debut three songs in the top three slots of the Billboard Hot 100.
On March 5, Canadian rapper Drake released an EP titled ‘Scary Hours 2’, which includes three songs: “What’s Next”, “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby, and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with Rick Ross on OVO Sound/Republic Records. Now, the songwriter has made history as he has become the first artist to debut three songs simultaneously in the top three spots of the Billboard #Hot100.
The official social media handle of Billboard shared the news and captioned the post as: “Drake makes @billboardcharts history as he becomes the first artist ever to debut three songs in the #Hot100 top three simultaneously:
1. “What’s Next”
2. “Wants and Needs” ft. @lilbaby
3. “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” ft. @richforever”

‘Scary Hours 2’ is the fourth extended play by Canadian rapper Drake and a sequel to his second extended play Scary Hours which released in the year 2018. In January this year, Drake announced that his upcoming sixth studio album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ would be delayed until later in 2021. However, after two months, his album was announced a day prior to release on Drake’s social media platforms.
Drake also joins The Beatles and Ariana Grande to rank at Nos. 1, 2, and 3 on the Hot 100 simultaneously. This will be his sixth studio album.
