Bhediya: Varun Dhawan Starrer Goes On Floor In Arunachal Pradesh

Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan is back to the grind mills. The actor had tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in January 2021. A month later, he is back to work and prepping for Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya. The newlywed has started shooting for Amar Kaushik’s film in Arunachal Pradesh.

Kriti Sanon plays the leading lady in the movie. The movie marks Varun’s and Kriti’s reunion after Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale in 2015.

As reported by sources to Indian Express, Varun and Kriti have already worked before and they know how to approach a script. Varun has also liked Stree and is therefore quite excited to be directed by Kaushik for a film from the same genre. His character is also close to a monster in this project.

Sources added Bhediya shoot will go on till May. A lot of VFX and prosthetics will be used init. All these are time-consuming but necessary for any horror film. As this is the first time Varun is trying out this genre he wants to give his best.

Rumours abound that to concentrate on the shoot of Bhediya Varun has also let go of other work including brand commercials. He has instructed his team that he won’t shoot for any commercials or promotional videos in the coming months. The reason being he aims to concentrate on his new look and also focus on the shoot.

Bhediya will also star Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. The film will hit theatres later this year.
