Rahul Gandhi’s Room Shakes Due To Unexpected Earthquake Tremors

On Friday northern part of India felt strong tremors of earthquake including Delhi-NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Congress leader, Rhaul Gandhi experienced his room shaking up when he was talking to the students of University of Chicago. While netizens express panic on social media platforms, Rahul remains calm when he revealed about experiencing the tremors in his room.
Rahul Gandhi was having a virtual conversation with historian Dipesh Chakrabarty and political science student from the University of Chicago. Amidst their conversation, the Congress leader paused and said, “By the way, I think there’s an earthquake going on.” He then he calmly got back to the topic which he was discussing with students. As per the reports issued by the National Center for Seismology (NCS) the magnitude of the quake which felt yesterday were around 6.3. It struck during 10:31 pm IST at a depth of 74 km from the surface. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Tajikistan for about 450 km from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
