Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’ release date to be announced tomorrow

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday will be seen together in the pan-India film titled, ‘Liger.’ The movie will release in five languages including Hindi. Now, the makers of the film have shared an update on the release date announcement. Liger’s release date will be out tomorrow morning at 8:14 AM.

Karan Johar shared a video on his social media handle and captioned it as: “It’s going to be one dhamaakedar punch of entertainment which crosses all language barriers! #Liger is coming to theatres near you…tune in tomorrow for the release date announcement at 8:14am! #SaalaCrossbreed@TheDeverakonda @ananyapandayy #PuriJagannadh”

In the video, Ananya is seen talking in Telugu and shares her excitement about working with Deverakonda and other cast members.

‘Liger’ is co-produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. Deverakonda will be seen playing the role of a boxer in the film. The film was initially titled Fighter.

For the film, Vijay nderwent a dramatic physical transformation and even underwent martial arts training in Thailand. Earlier, Janhvi Kapoor was the first choice to portray the female lead, but due to date issues, she was replaced by Ananya.
