In 2012, Richa gained immense popularity after she played a pivotal role in Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama ‘Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1.’

She performed plays touring in India and Pakistan. Later, she also received her training under Barry John.

In 2010, she acted in a Kannada movie titled ‘Nirdoshi.’

In 2016, Richa was in the 30 under 30 list of Forbes Magazine, as well as she was on the cover of the magazine.

Richa suffered from bulimia for several years, later, she recovered after seeking professional help from a clinical psychiatrist.

In 2015, Richa Chadda represented India at the 18th Marrakech International Film Festival.

Richa interned with Men’s fashion magazine and Elle, before marking her debut in Bollywood.

Richa Chadha is also a trained Bharatnatyam Dancer.

In 2014, she posed as a mermaid for a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ad campaign, encouraging people to avoid eating fish and to go vegetarian.
