‘Manikarnika’ Controversy: Co-director, Krish Recalls How He Had Called Kangana Ranaut For ‘One Last Time’

Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ had made quite a buzz during the time of its theatrical release, but for few wrong reasons. The co-director of this film, Krish had accused actress of taking over the film from him. In his recent conversation he speaks up about how he had spoken to her for ‘one last time’.

Krish recently marked his appearance on Samantha’s chat show, ‘Sam Jam’ alongside Rakul Preet Singh. When the host quizzed both of the guests about how they managed to deal with controversies with a strong, graceful, demeanour reactions. Krish said, “I wanted to speak to her one last time. Kangana and her team watched the film and after two days I got a call from them. My only fear was that I might remain unknown to the world. As an artistes, we all want to show our potential and that is possible only if we get the right opportunities.”

For the unversed, Sonu Sood who was supposed to portray one of the pivotal role in ‘Manikarnika’ had bid a goodbye to the team. He left the project soon after the actress took over the project.
