Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the limelight after the release of Aanand L Rai’s directorial, ‘Zero’. The film also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles, however, it couldn’t perform well at the box-office collections. Reportedly, the star after taking the long gap of two years has now kickstarted the shootings of his next ‘Pathan’,
Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film, ‘Pathan’ is being helmed by Siddharth Anand, who had earlier directed War. And the flick is being bankrolled by Yash Raj Banners. As per the latest report by Bollywood Hungama, SRK has finally kickstarted the shooting of this film.
A source while talking about the actor and the project, informed the portal, “Shah Rukh Khan has begun filming for Pathan at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios from today. The whole team is very excited to see King Khan back in action. SRK himself is kicked about the film and his role in the film. He has come fully prepared and is looking forward to shooting this film.”
For the unversed, ‘Pathan’ apparently also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the key roles, however, both of them would be joining SRK next year.
SRK will be seen sporting long hair in this film and thus he has been growing his hair off late. The star was spotted hiding his grown up hair with a cap at the IPL matches in UAE, however, he eventually had unveiled his new look in an IPL anthem song.
