One the of the most popular superhero satire ‘The Boys’ had wrapped up its second season and the makers are currently working towards releasing the third installment. According to the latest reports, B-town celebs such as Rajkummar Rao, Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani have been roped in to lend the voice for the Hindi version.
The Hindi dubbed versions of ‘The Boys’ will be released on Amazon Prime Video series. According to a report by Quint, the streaming giant has roped in B-town actors to lend their voice. Rajkummar Rao and Arjun Kapoor will dub for ‘Homelander’ and his arch-nemesis Billy Butcher respectively, whereas Disha Patani will give her voice for Starlight.
While talking about the film, Arjun said, “I have been a huge fan of the series ever since it released on Amazon Prime Video. The character of Billy Butcher, much like the series, has a unique charm and an impressive character arc. Billy’s wild sarcasm and his alluring ruggedness spoke to me and I can’t be more excited to voice this delightfully-vexed vigilante.”
Rajkumar on the other side said that “The Boys” is one of my favourite series on Amazon Prime Video. It is fascinating to watch Antony Starr as Homelander – an infuriatingly complex character that everyone loves to hate. Voicing for Homelander has been extremely exciting and I hope that the audiences like what I have done with my voice for Homelander. It’s been a great experience doing this.”
Alongside Hindi, the series will also be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu respectively. The dubbed versions are set to be launched on OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos on October 28.
