Bandra magistrate court orders FIR against Kangana, Rangoli for creating 'communal tension' through tweets
Bandra Magistrate Metropolitan Court orders registration of police complaint against actor Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel. The FIR is for allegedly creating communal tension through their tweets and interviews. Magistrate Jaydeo Ghule passed the order on a complaint by casting director and fitness trainer Munnawarali Sayyed.

The complainant had accused Kangana of creating a social divide between Hindu and Muslim’s via her tweets and interviews to channels. The petition also mentions several tweets of Kangana Ranaut that claimed that action was not being taken in the Palghar Sadhu lynching case, calling Mumbai Police the ‘Babur Sena’ etc.
As reported by sources to ABP news, the charges against Kangana Ranaut include sedition and blasphemy. The FIR has been filed under various sections included 295A, 153A, 124, and 34 of IPC.
The court has agreed with the complainant and said that an investigation is needed to ascertain the truth.
This is not the only FIR against the Queen star a few days back Karnataka police had filed an FIR against Kangana Ranaut for her tweet concerning farmers after the passage of farm bills. The order was passed by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Tumkur Vinod Balnaik on the complaint of Advocate Ramesh Naik.
They had alleged that the tweet posted by Kangana has a clear intention to injure people opposing the Farm Bills.
