‘Naagin 5’ actor Sharad Malhotra tests positive for Coronavirus
'Naagin 5' actor Sharad Malhotra has been tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
Sharad Malhotra who is currently seen in Ekta Kapoor’s popular television show, Naagin 5 as Veer Singhania has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The actor revealed that he developed mild symptoms on Thursday, and the doctor advised him to get tested for the same. He is currently under home quarantine.

Confirming the same, Sharad spoke to the Times of India and said, “They say if you stay positive, good things and people will be drawn to you. Well, I think, I took this line, too seriously(smiles). Unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. I have mild symptoms and have quarantined myself at home.”
He also said that his wife has tested negative, “Thankfully, my wife Ripci has tested negative and she continues to follow all precautionary measures. I am resting at home under strict medical supervision, and I would urge my viewers to keep me in their prayers, so that I can bounce back sooner and stronger.”
Earlier, this week, the television couple, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee also tested positive for COVID-19. Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji actor Ansh Bagri was also, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Priyanka Kalantari, and her husband Vikas has also been tested for the novel Coronavirus.
