There were reports stating that Ranveer Singh has sent an application to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to let him be present with his wife Deepika Padukone during her probe, citing anxiety and gets panic attacks as the reason. However, the agency denied that they haven’t received any request from the Simmba actor.
On Friday, NCB has investigated actress Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash, and Dharma Productions’ executive producer Kshitij Ravi in the connection with the case.
Deepika’s name cropped up after her 2017 WhatsApp chat with the KWAN talent manager Karishma Prakash had surfaced where the actress is allegedly interacting about substances like ‘maal’ and ‘hash.’ Reportedly, Padukone was the admin of a WhatsApp group in which drugs were discussed.
