SP Balasubrahmanyam Demise: Celebrities offer condolences to the legendary singer
Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on Friday noon, aged 74.
Legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam is no more. The singer was admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai on August 5 and shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital after his health deteriorated. A few days back, SP Charan had informed that his father is getting better and was eager to get discharged from the hospital.
The veteran singer’s son SP Charan shared the news and told reporters at MGM Healthcare in Chennai, “SPB belongs to everyone. He will live on in his songs. My dad passed away at 1.04 pm.”
Many celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Lata Mangeshkar, and many others took to their social media handle to pay condolence to the legendary singer.

SPB is known to have recorded over 40,000 songs in 16 Indian languages and also holds the Guinness World Record for recording the highest number of songs.
SPB is survived by his wife Savithri and two children — daughter Pallavi and son SP Charan.
