Anushka Sharma gives a befitting reply to Sunil Gavaskar for his crass comment

Actress Anushka Sharma has slammed legendary cricketer for his crass comment on her and Virat Kohli during an IPL match. The iconic Batsman had made a disgraceful comment on Virat Kohli for his poor performance at IPL 2020. It all happened after the Indian captain dropped two catches and managed just a run-off five balls against Kings XI Punjab in Dubai on Thursday night. The former cricketer-turned-commentator took a dig at Virat Kohli and made a distasteful comment involving Kohli’s wife.

His crass comment left Virat Kohli fans fuming. Now the lady herself has decided to give a befitting reply. In a long post on Instagram, the actress questioned the legendary cricketer about dragging her into cricket. She further asked him why he has not given her due respect.

Anushka wrote, “That, Mr Gavaskar, your message is distasteful is a fact, but I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband’s game? I’m sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commenting on the game. Don’t you think you should have an equal amount of respect for me and us. Respected Mr Gavaskar, you are a legend whose name stands tall in this gentleman’s game. Just wanted to tell you what I felt when I heard you say this.”?”
