‘Maal Hai Kya?’: Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at Deepika Padukone after her name crops up in drug case
The Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) is investigating the drug conspiracy angle in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case. After Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik’s arrest, names of several Bollywood celebs have emerged in connection to the drug angle in the SSR case. The latest name to crop up in the list is of actress Deepika Padukone.
According to a Times Now report, the alleged WhatsApp chats accessed by them of Deepika and Karishma, an employee of talent management agency KWAN, indicates dealing and consumption of banned drugs.
After Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in the alleged Bollywood drug case, Kangana Ranaut took a dig at the actress and tweeted, “Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. According to Times Now report, Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash will soon be summoned by NCB. The agency will also be summoning Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor this week after they were apparently named by Rhea during her interrogation with NCB.
Names of Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta have also emerged in the NCB probe.
