Sanjay Dutt to head to the US for lung cancer treatment?
The latest reports state that Sanjay Dutt will be heading to the US for his lung cancer treatment.
Sanjay Dutt has been reportedly diagnosed with lung cancer, just a few weeks back. The actor announced on his social media that he is taking a break from work to seek medical treatment. As per latest reports the ‘Kalank’ actor will be heading to the US for his treatment.
According to a report in Mid-Day, the actor will be getting his medical treatment at the same hospital where his mother Nargis was treated. Sanju had applied for a visa as soon as he learnt about his diagnosis. One of his close friends helped the actor to secure a five-year visa on medical grounds. The actor is now expected to fly to the New York with Maanayata and Priya to be under medical attention at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre.
Nargis Dutt was admitted to the same hospital. In the past, late Rishi Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, and Sonali Bendre were also getting treated at the same hospital. It is one of the world’s oldest private cancer centre. Along with Dutt, his wife Maanayata, sisters Priya and Namrata will be accompanying him.
On Ganesh Chaturthi 2020, Sanju shared a glimpse of Ganesh Puja at his Mumbai home, with the caption: “The celebrations aren’t as huge as they used to be every year but the faith in Bappa remains the same. I wish that this auspicious festival removes all the obstacles from our lives and bless us all with health and happiness. Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
