After Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina announces his retirement from international cricket
On Saturday, former Indian caption, Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket, now, senior Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has also announced through his social media that he will be retiring.
Announcing his retirement, Suresh Raina took to his social media handle and wrote, “It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781 . With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳”

Raina is regarded as one of the best fielders in world cricket. He was the captain of the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League and the vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings. Raina has also represented India in 18 Test matches and 78 T20Is.
He is the second-youngest player to captain India and is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in all three formats of international cricket. He also played critical knocks in the matches against Australia and Pakistan. The 33-year-old cricketer last played in 2018.
On Friday, Raina and MS Dhoni are currently in Chennai for a six-day training camp for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
