‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ actor Sameer Sharma commits suicide

‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ actor Sameer Sharma passes away, allegedly the actor committed suicide at his Malad residence in Mumbai.

“TV actor & model Sameer Sharma was found hanging from his kitchen ceiling at his residence in Malad West last night. Accidental Death Report registered, body sent for autopsy. Looking at body’s condition, it’s suspected that he died by suicide two days back: Malad Police. #Mumbai,” reported news agency ANI.

A report in Mid-Day stated, that, in February, this year, Sameer had rented the apartment. The watchman of the society, while on night duty, saw the actor’s body and alerted the society members. Looking at the body’s condition, the police suspected that the actor had committed suicide two days back. However, no suicide note has been recovered on the spot, reported the Malad police.

Senior inspector George Fernandez, Malad police station, said, “A case of accidental death has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy.”

Sameer Sharma was last seen in Star Plus’s ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’, in which he played the role of Shaurya Maheshwari. He has also been a part of many TV shows including ‘Dil Kya Chahta Hai,’  ‘Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,’ ‘Left Right Left.’ 

The actor also made played a supporting role in Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s 2014 film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.Apart from acting, he has also done several ad campaigns and modeling assignments.
