1. Sonu Sood was born to Shakti Sood and Saroj Sood, he was born into a middle-class family. Sood’s father was a small-time businessman and ran a garment shop named Bombay Cloth House, while his mother Saroj was a professor.
2. The actor moved to Nagpur to pursue his engineering degree in Electronics from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur.
3. Sood has acted predominantly in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Punjabi films.
4. In 2016, Sood established the production house Shakti Sagar Productions, named after his father, Shakti Sagar Sood.
5. At the young age of 23, Sood married his wife Sonali in 1996 and now they have two sons, Ishant and Ayaan.
6. Sood made his debut in the Chinese film, ‘Xuanzang.’
7. Sonu Sood gained wide recognition from Mani Ratnam’s 2004 ‘Yuva’ and in 2005’s ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne.’
