Rhea Chakraborty to apply for interim bail after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father files FIR

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty under various sections including financial exploitation, threats, abetment of suicide, and others at Rajendra Nagar Police Station in Bihar. Now, the latest reports state, the actress is likely to apply for interim bail.

A report in DNA states, Rhea met with her lawyer last night Anandini Fernandes after FIR was filed by SSR’s father, she was also spotted coming out of the actress’s house after three hours of discussion. SSR’s family alleged that Rhea made him cut off from his family.

Reportedly, five people, including, Chakraborty, her brother Showik, parents, and Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal code, which include- 306 (abetment to suicide). 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation), 120 (criminal conspiracy) and also charged them under the Mental Health Care Act.

KK Singh, in his complaint, stated that Chakraborty had fired Sushant Singh Rajput’s bodyguard fired on March 22, just prior the coronavirus lockdown was implemented in the country, reported by DNA.

On Tuesday, KK Singh filed a six-page FIR against Rhea, which include 16 allegations, KK Singh accused Rhea of taking away cash, jewelry, laptop, credit card, its PIN number and password, and important documents and doctors’ receipts. when she dumped him on June 8, 2020.

KK Singh claimed that Rhea used Sushant and his stardom to gain professional leverage, he also stated that he wants police investigation to find out where the Rs 15 crore out of Rs 17 crore was deposited in a bank account held by Rajput was transferred.
