After Amitabh Bachchan, Son Abhishek Bachchan too tests COVID-19 positive

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was on Saturday evening admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. The superstar had tested positive for COVID-19. The shocking news was confirmed by the PIKU star on his social media handle. BIG B had tweeted that his family too is undergoing tests. It is now being reported that son Abhishek Bachchan too has tested coronavirus positive. He is also admitted in Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

Abhishek shared the news on Twitter,

Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Big B had earlier shared the news on Twitter and also asked all those who were close to him to get themselves tested as well, he wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that Big B and Abhishek Bachchan are asymptomatic and stable. The other members of the family have tested negative.
