Mirzapur 2: Five characters who make ‘Mirzapur’ a must watch series

Web Series Mirzapur premiered in 2018 and caught the attention of the masses in a huge way. But ever since the first season came to end fans are eagerly awaiting the new season to premiere on Amazon Prime. Rumours abound that Season 2 of the popular gangster drama from hinterland will be out by December 2020. Apparently the trailer of Mirzapur 2 will be out almost two months before the release date. But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet by the makers.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the second season of the popular web series. The biggest reason behind this is its character. Its characters have made this web series famous.

Here are five Mirzapur characters that have made it popular:

1.Munna Tripathi:

Munn Tripathi played by Divyendu Sharma is one of the most powerful characters in ‘Mirzapur’.  His aim in life is to be the sole ruler of Mirzapur. To fulfill his dream he has to oust his father Kaleen Bhaiya his father.  Divyendu Sharma has won fan following with his conniving act. His ‘O Chacha’ dialogue too has become very famous.

2.Kaleen Bhaiya:

Kaleen Bhaiya(Pankaj Tripathi ) the king of Mirzapur. He is aiming to give the inheritance of Mirzapur to his son Munna. People fear his wrath as no one can escape from this king of the underworld. Pankaj Tripathi has given life to his character with his award-winning performance.

 3. Guddu Pandit:

Guddu Pandit one of the most popular characters of Mirzapur played by Ali Fazal. This character enjoys killing people. He loves his body the most and dreams about winning the best bodybuilder tag.  This season, we shall see Guddu Pandit not only taking revenge for the death of his brother and pregnant wife but also trying to take over Mirzapur from the Tripathi’s

4. Bablu Pandit:

Babloo Pandit played by Vikram Massey is the educated and calm person,  who is the brain in the first series. He not only convinces Kaleen Bhaiya on different projects but also keeps his brother Guddu grounded. Babloo is shot at the end of the first season. But his fans will be able to see Vikram Massey in the second season of ‘Broken But Beautiful’.

5. Bina Tripathi:

One of the most underplayed but most brilliant characters of the Mirzapur series is Bina Tripathi. She aims to have a child. Kaleen Bhaiya’s second wife is also planning to remove him from her path to rule over Mirzapur. Bina’s character is played by Rasika Duggal quite brilliantly.

Mirzapur season 1 starred Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, Divyendu Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The season ended with the death of Bablu Pandit and Guddu Pandit’s wife, who was killed by Munna Tripathi. Fans are quite excited to know what happens next. Will Guddu take revenge? Munna be able to remove his father and become the head honcho?  Bina be able to be a mother? and many more such questions will be answered in Season 3 of Mirzapur.
