On April 29, 2020, the world was left into gloom when Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 53, at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital. He was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumor since 2018. The actor’s journey from being a TV star to legendary Bollywood actor s truly inspiring. He also had an expanding recognition in Hollywood. Just like his unbelievable acting, his home is also a work of creation.
The actor previously used to live in Madh Island, later in 2017, he moved into his luxurious home in Oshiwara, Mumbai with his wife Sutapa Sikdar and their two sons Babil and Ayan. Irrfan’s house is a blend of rustic touches, royalty and purity.
The first thing that comes to your notice, is the different shades of electric blue, in the interview with Architectural Digest, the actor spoke on how it is important to have a water body around him, “It is important for me to have a water body,”
Irrfan also pointed on why he has a Turkish bathtub, in his living room, “It has to have its own ecosystem, survive on its own. That fascinates me. That the fishes don’t have to be given oxygen separately, that the water doesn’t have to be cleaned or changed.”

The Angrezi Medium actor, also confessed of having a mirror fetish, he said, “I always peer into them even if I’m walking by in a hurry, I finally have an area surrounded by mirrors, where I can see myself from every angle.”
Irrfan Khan’s fifth-floor apartment represents the house of an artist, talking about the same, “So that when you enter the house from the noise outside, it changes your mindset. It brings you in,” said Irrfan.
