Strong Tremors Of 4.6 Magnitude Felt For Few Seconds At Rohtak In Haryana On Friday
During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, earthquake tremors were felt in Rohtak in Haryana( Delhi ) on Friday evening i.e May 29th. Apparently, there were no immediate reports of property losses, however, netizens on social media reported that it was a really strong tremor.
As per the reports, the earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was observed and people were seen rushing out of their homes. As per the report in Livemint, the National Centre for Seismology stated that the Medium intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.6 had an epicenter in Rohtak in Haryana at 9:08 pm at a depth of 3.3 km.
This is not the first time, Delhi has witnessed the tremors in recent times. Its the third time that the tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR only in the month of May. Netizens took to their Twitter handles and shared updates with others.
