Vidya Balan is all set to make her debut as a producer with a film titled ‘Natkhat’. This is the first-ever short film of the talented actress. On Tuesday, Balan unveiled the first look poster of her debut short film on social media. The poster soon created a buzz on the internet.

Vidya took to her social media and announced the venture by releasing the first poster. She wrote, “Ek Kahani sunoge…?” Presenting the first look of my first short film as a producer and also as an actor #Natkhat ☀️. @rsvpmovies #ronniescrewvala @sanayairanizohrabi @shaanvs @annukampa_harsh (sic).”

In the viral poster, Vidya Balan is seen in a simple saree with a veil on her head. Looking pensive as she massages her young son’s head.
The film is based on a mother who educates her son about gender equality, respect for women from a very young age.
Natkhat is directed by Shaan Vyas and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Vidya Balan. The release date has not been revealed as yet.
On the work front, Vidya Balan will next be seen in mathematician wizard Shakuntala Devi’s biopic. Directed by Anu Menon, the film has been bankrolled by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra. It also stars Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video instead of theatres.
