‘Gulabo Sitabo’ Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana, Amitabh Bachchan starrer promises a fun ride

The makers have finally released the much-awaited trailer Amitabh Bachchan And Ayushmann Khurrana starter ‘Gulabo Sitabo.’ This is the first project where Amitabh and Ayushmann will be coming together for a movie. In addition, this is the first Bollywood movie to be streamed on an OTT platform as theatres remain shut due to the novel coronavirus crisis.

‘Gulabo Sitabo’ depicts the story of a young man (Ayushmann), down on his luck, and his mean landowner (Amitabh), who is emotionally attached to his old ‘haveli,’ but tired of him, Amitabh Bachchan chooses to sell off his ‘haveli.’

On Thursday, the trailer announcement was done, the cast and director of ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ chose social media to declare the release of the trailer. Hence, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and director Shoojit Sircar got together on a video call for the announcement. However, the trailer release took a comedic turn when the actors of the movie got into quarrels.

The official synopsis of the movie reads,“Gulabo Sitabo is the quirky tale of two slimy scheming foxes in a game of one-upmanship, each one attracting other members to their clan and each one with an agenda of his own.”

Apart from the duo, the movie also stars Vijay Raaz, the comedy-drama has been directed by Shoojit Sircar, co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and written by Juhi Chaturvedi.

‘Gulabo Sitabo’ will stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video from 12 June 2020.
