Akshay Kumar donates 1000 wrist bands to help Mumbai Police detect COVID-19 symptoms
Ever since the country has been under nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19. Bollywood actors are coming forward to help all who are fighting to curb the virus. Superstar Akshay Kumar too is doing the same. He has donated Rs 25 crores to the PM CARES fund. Rs 3 crore to BMC and also helped Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy cinema that was going through financial difficulties. The Khiladi has also contributed Rs 2 crore to Mumbai Police. The actor has done it once again.
Akshay Kumar gifted 1000 wrist bands to the Mumbai Police to detect symptoms of COVID-19.
Being a brand ambassador of a leading health brand, the Sooryavanshi actor has donated the bands to Mumbai Police. The watches have sensors that detect body temperature. It is one of the biggest examples of technology helping in this time of crisis. With this, Mumbai Police becomes the first-ever organization in the world that will be able to keep track as well as manage the health of its personnel with the help of these bands.
A few days ago, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the soldiers in white with a song Teri Mitti. He released the special version of the song from Kesari as a tribute to the frontline workers who have been working tirelessly.
