On Thursday veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in Mumbai. The actor was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital yesterday morning but the reason for his admission was still unknown.

To be noted, in September 2018 Rishi Kapoor left for New York with wife Neetu Kapoor for treatment of an undisclosed illness. But it was revealed that Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer and that he has been undergoing treatment for the same in the US. The actor later returned to India in September 2019 after recovering in New York.

Post return to India, his health has frequently been in focus. The actor was admitted to the hospital in quick succession in February. Amid speculations about his health, he had been hospitalized in New Delhi in early February, while on a visit to New Delhi.

While the Rishi-Neetu Kapoor were in New York, many B-Town celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, and Karan Johar, and many more visited them.
