Irrfan Khan passed away today at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. He was suffering from ‘colon infection’ and was admitted to the hospital on April 28 evening and was kept in the ICU.
We are really saddened to hear the news of his demise and so as the celebs, sportsmen, and politicians. Condolences have been pouring in from all across the nation. From Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee to Rahul Gandhi, many politicians have mourned the death of Irrfan Khan.
PM Narendra Modi wrote in his tweet that “Irrfan Khan’s demise is a loss to the world of cinema and theatre”.

West Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee is also saddened by the death of the ‘Angrezi Medium’ actor. “Saddened at the passing away of the critically acclaimed film actor Irrfan Khan. He leaves behind a large body of work which will be his legacy for generations,” she tweeted.
