For a very long there have been several reports about Dayaben a.k.a Disha Vakani’s return on the show. While it was stated that Disha is not returning, there were speculations that the makers are still trying to convince her. Now, Disha’s husband, Mayur has confirmed that she will only return on the show for an episode.

While talking about her comeback on ‘Tarak Mehta’, Mayur Padia has informed Pinkvilla that, “She has shot for a portion of the episode, but our talks with the makers still remain unresolved. So, she will not return to the show for good. We are hoping that we reach an amicable solution.”
Disha Vakani has been missing from ‘Tarak Mehta’ for the last two years. The actress had taken a break when she announced that she was expecting a baby. The makers of the show didn’t introduce the replacement of her character yet. The actress on the other side has made virtual presence through phone calls and video calls on the show.
The reports of her returning on the show started making quite a buzz, when a video went viral on social media. In the video, Disha can be seen dressed up in Dayaben’s character and it’s a small chunk from a scene that she probably has shot for the special episode.
