It has been almost two years Disha Vakani aka Dayaban left the show but fans still waiting for her comeback on Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Disha Vakani is popularly known for playing Dayaban in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which is one of the longest-running Indian TV shows. The first episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltash Chashmash (TMKOC) premiered on July 28, 2018.

In TMKOC, Dayaban used to play the role of Daya Jethalal Gada in popular daily. As the entire country is in state of uncertainty over Coronavirus outbreak, Disha Vakani posted a video clip from her show featuring herself as Dayaben and Dilip Joshi as Jethalal.

The hilarious video of Daya and Jethalal has left the audience nostalgic and they flooded the comment section requesting Daya to comeback to TMKOC.
There have been numerous speculation doing rounds on social media regarding her return to Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, she reportedly refused to return to the show for unknown reason and makers are contemplating to take a fresh face on board to play the iconic character.
There are various names like Vibhoutee Sharma and Ami Trivedi are being considered to bring on board to play Daya. However, the makers of the show have not confirmed anything as of now.
Disha Vakani might have shot an episode which made her thousands of fans happy but the suspense is still mounted whether she will return to the show or not.
Disha Vakani took maternity break from the show after she was blessed with a baby girl, Stuti Pandya in 2018.
