Thalapathy Vijay’s Master to now release on THIS date?

Thalapathy Vijay’s highly-anticipated flick, Master was supposed to hit the screens on April 9. But due to the COVID-19 Lockdown, the makers couldn’t release the film on the scheduled date.  As per the latest buzz it seems the makers have now zeroed on a new release date.

As per the latest rumours Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master may hit the screens on June 22. This is an important date for Vijay fans as it coincides with the Bigil star’s birthday. The makers are quite hopeful that the lockdown will end by June and theatres and malls too will reopen. As it is Vijay’s birthday they find June 22 the best date to release Master in theatres.

If the rumours, do come true then it will be a double celebration for Thalapathy fans. But there has been no official confirmation of the same as yet by the makers.

Recently, on the previously announced release date, the fans were seen requesting the makers to at least release the trailer amid the lockdown. Responding to which they not only unveiled a new poster but also promised that Master will be coming soon.

Produced by Xavier Britto under his home banner XB Film Creators, the film features Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj are also a part of the project.

Actor Vijay will be seen playing the role of a college professor in the film.
