Thalapathy Vijay worries for safety of son Jason stuck in Canada amid Coronavirus Pandemic
The novel coronavirus pandemic continues to spread like wildfire across major countries of the world. The governments of various countries, including India has decided to curb the spread by implementing major rules across the nations. One of the rules being a ban on international travel. Due to which many people are stranded on foreign lands. One of them being South superstar Thalapathy Vijay‘s son Jason Sanjay.
As per an India Today report, Actor Vijay‘s son Sanjay, who has done a couple of short films, is currently stuck in Canada. Jason had completed his schooling last year in Chennai and left for abroad immediately to pursue higher studies. He is currently learning filmmaking at a popular university in Canada. Though the country has recorded the lowest number of novel coronavirus cases, reports suggest that the actor is worried about his son.
The report further added, Vijay has been advising his son to stay indoors and be safe. The actor is presently staying with his wife Sangeetha and daughter Divya Saasha. They are following the coronavirus guidelines at their residence in Chennai.
On the work front, Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited film ‘Master’ has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The flick was scheduled to hit theatres on April 9.
Master, which stars Vijay in the role of a college professor, has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has teamed up with Vijay for the first time. In Master, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing the antagonist. The project also features Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah Arjun Das in pivotal roles.
