Salman Khan's 'Radhe' NOT Releasing On Eid; Most Likely To Be Postponed Due To Coronavirus Lockdown
Superstar Salman Khan‘s Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai might miss its date with Eid this year. Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan as he releases most of his films on the festive occasion. But this will be the first year that the actor will not be able to give and Eidi to his fans. The reason being COVID-19 Pandemic.
This will be for the first time in over a decade that ardent Salman fans will not see a release on Eid. Most of the actor’s films like Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kick (2014), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016) and Bharat (2019) have released on the festive occasion.
To curb the spread of coronavirus in India, the government has put a 21-day lockdown. Due to the lockdown work on films and television serials too have been stopped. Radhe still has its last leg to complete.
As reported by a source to PTI, “Radhe will be pushed ahead for sure. We have got two songs to shoot, there is some patchwork left of about five days or so, we also have editing that is left. We don’t know when the situation will be normal and when we can shoot and finish our pending work.”
Sources further added People might be skeptical about watching a movie in a theatre due to the COVID-19 scare, it would be unfair to release a film at such times.
‘Radhe’ directed by Prabhudheva also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles. The movie also features Disha Patani as the female lead.
