Family: Rajinikanth, Big B, Priyanka Chopra’s short film gets shout-out from Karan Johar
Short Film Family, Featuring Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi And Others is about self-isolation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had imposed a 21-day lockdown to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic in India. Celebrities too have come forward to spread the message among their fans through social media. They are advising them to follow the social-distancing method to be safe. Now a short film that is all about self-isolation is viral on the internet.
Popular stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and many more have come together for a short film titled Family. Directed and conceptualized by Prasoon Pandey, the film is made on an intention to spread awareness about COVID-19 that has the world reeling under its deadly claws.

The short film Family was unveiled by Sony TV on Monday. Over four minutes long, Family emphasizes that in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, nothing is as important as staying at home. It also talks about the importance of personal hygiene and the efforts that every individual should put in to fight against the deadly disease.
The movie got a shout out from Karan Johar who tweeted,

Prasoon Pandey has virtually directed Family in collaboration with Sony Pictures Networks India, Kalyan Jewellers, and Amitabh Bachchan. The proceeds from the short film will go towards the daily wage earners of the Indian film industry. It will also be funding monthly ration of 1,00,000 households across the country.
