Anaya Panday marked her Bollywood debut with the romance/drama ‘Student Of The Year 2’ co-starring Tara Sutaria and Tiger Shroff. Since then the actress has won over a huge fan following. But, did you know? Just like Tara Sutaria, Ananya also auditioned for Aladdin but got rejected? Yes, you read it right!

During a media interaction, the actress said, “I remember when Aladdin had come to India, a bunch of people auditioned for it. So I remember we had to record a video and I recorded it on my phone for which I wore this red outfit. I had to read the dialogues for Jasmine and the scene went well.”

Further, the ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ actress stated, “But then they were like you have to sing and I cannot sing to save my life and I was like what should I do should I make someone else sing and pretend like it’s me and mouths it. I got rejected for that. I don’t think we ever stopped auditioning. I was supposed to audition last week as well.”
On the work front, the actress was last seen in Mudassar Aziz’s romantic/comedy ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Kartik Aaryan and will be seen next in Maqbool Khan’s action/thriller ‘Khaali Peeli’ which also features Ishaan Khatter in the lead.
