COVID-19: YouTuber Bhuvan Bam donates his March Earnings To PM Cares Fund
As per the reports, popular YouTuber Bhuvan Bam has donated his March-2020 earning to PM CARES Fund.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the PM-CARES fund on March 28, 2020, advising the citizens to make their contribution against the Coronavirus outbreak, many famous personalities have been doing their bit to aid the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, as per the recent reports, popular Youtuber Bhuvan Bam who is known for uploading vines on his YouTube channel, ‘BB Ki Vines’ has decided to distribute his complete YouTube earnings from the month of March.
The sources also state that Bhuvan has donated Rs 10 lakh that, to be distributed between the PM-CARES Fund, the CM Relief Fund, and the Feeding India initiative.
Talking to a news agency, the YouTuber said, “Usually I prefer to not talk about these things but our country needs us right now, this is important and we need to go out of our way to help everyone.”
“This is my way of showing my support to pledge contributions to the PM CARES fund, CM relief fund and Feeding India. I am grateful for all the people who are putting their lives at risk for our country and this is my way of giving back,” Bhuvan added.
The 26-year-old is a Youtube sensation and he became the first Indian individual YouTube content creator to cross 10 million subscribers. He is the Director of ‘BB Ki Vines’ Private Limited and a Designated partner at AMB Youthiapa LLP, the company behind his channel merchandise.
For the unversed, he was acknowledged with several accolades. He has won the 2016 Most Popular Channel on YouTube on WebTVAsia awards. He has also won the Entertainer of the Year at Official Instagram Awards and Global Entertainer of the Year at World Bloggers Awards in 2019.
