Donald Trump: US will not pay for Prince Harry and Meghan’s security
Donald Trump refuses to pay security bill for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess say they're not asking for any help.
The world of grappling with the issue of Coronavirus Pandemic amid this trying times the United States President Donald Trump is commenting on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent move to US. Trump says the US will not foot the bill for Prince Harry and Meghan’s security amid reports that the pair have moved to the US from Canada.
Mr Trump tweeted he was “a great friend and admirer of the Queen and the United Kingdom”, but added: “They must pay!”

I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!

Trump’s tweet soon got a response from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Royals insisted they never intended to ask Donald Trump for help with security costs.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. Government for security resources,’ a Sussex spokesman set yesterday. ‘Privately funded security arrangements have been made.’
As reported by a source to People Magazine, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have relocated from Canada to the U.S. They are living in a secluded compound and are not moving out due to the coronavirus Pandemic. It’s unclear when the couple made the move.
Harry and Meghan caused quite a stir earlier this year when they made the shock announcement that they were quitting Royal life and leaving the UK.
