Bigg Boss Telugu season 4: Nagarjuna to get double remuneration to host the show?
Organisers of the show approached Akkineni Nagarjuna but he asked for a remuneration that was double the amount he took to host Bigg Boss Telugu season 3.
Hours after reports making rounds social media that Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will host the fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu, yet another report surfaced on the internet claiming that Akkineni Nagarjuna will not only host Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 but also get paid double the amount he took for Bigg Boss Telugu season 3.
For the uninitiated, the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu was hosted by Jr NTR whereas the second and third seasons were hosted by Naturals Star Nani and Akkineni Nagarjuna respectively.
Bigg Boss is the Telugu language of the reality TV series Bigg Boss, which itself is an adaptation of the Dutch series Big Brother. The Telugu version of BB airs on Star Maa TV channel and users can watch it online on OTT platform Hotstar.
It is yet to be officially announced who will host the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Telugu. As per the sources of leading Telugu news portal, organisers of the show approached Akkineni Nagarjuna but he asked for a remuneration that was double the amount he took to host Bigg Boss Telugu season 3.
Considering the popularity of the last season of Bigg Boss Telugu, organisers of the show have agreed with the amount and Nagarjuna will surely be seen hosting the upcoming season. The last season of BB Telugu turned out one of the most controversial seasons of all-time.
On the professional front, Nagarjuna Akkineni will next be seen in Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy-starrer Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra marks the comeback of Nagarjuna Akkineni in Bollywood after 17 years. The film is slated to release on December 4, 2020.
