Yes, Salman Khan, who has dozens of brand endorsements in his kitty, has recently signed on as the face of a Chinese smartphone brand. For that shoot, Salman reportedly took a whopping Rs 7 cr per day for the shoot.
The report stated that Salman Khan shot for the commercial at Mehboob Studio in Bandra in February. A source told the tabloid about his apparent fee adding that it’s perhaps the highest fee paid to a Bollywood star for any endorsement.
The source quoted as saying, “The superstar charged a whopping Rs 7 crore per day for the shoot. It is being touted as the highest fee paid to a Bollywood star for a brand endorsement.”
Considering Dabangg 3 actor’s popularity, the head honchos were happy to pay the sum. The source revealed that the actor has allotted another four to five days for the brand’s next promotional event and if the report is to be believed, he will be paid the same fee then too.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai co-starring Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
