After Mahesh Babu in Maharshi, Pooja Hedge to romance Vijay in THIS film?

Pooja Hegde might be ready to come back to Tamil films in a Vijay starrer. According to recent reports, Pooja Hegde is being considered to play the female lead in Thalapathy 65 opposite Vijay. The upcoming movie is being written and directed by Sudha Kongara.

However, there has been no official confirmation of the news so far and we could end up seeing a different female lead. Pooja Hegde has previously worked on films like Duvvada Jagannadham, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi and Housefull 4. The actress has worked with some big names in the industry like Hrithik Roshan, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and Akshay Kumar.

Pooja Hegde will next be seen in Prabhas’ upcoming movie Most Eligible Bachelor. The film is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and Akhil Akkineni.

Coming back to Thalapathy 65, the movie is reportedly backed by Sun Pictures, which is back in the business and actively producing movies that include Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. Sudha Kongara, who has now teamed up with Suriya in Soorarai Pottru, will be teaming up with Vijay for the first time.

The project is expected to take off later this year.

Meanwhile, Vijay is currently busy with his next movie Master, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is a crime thriller in which Vijay plays the role of a professor. The movie has Malavika Mohanan in the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi in the role of the antagonist.
