BTS Becomes The First Korean Act To Keep Five Titles On Billboard’s World Albums Chart For A Year
Love Yourself: Tear has been up on the list for 82 weeks
BTS has proved time and again that they are more than just a flash in the pan. Their newest album Map of the Soul: 7 was the most hotly anticipated project of the year. The album was released on February 21, 2020, and fans just can’t get enough of the music. BTS hit another milestone when they became the first Korean act in Billboard’s charts to see five different albums spend a year on the list.
The BTS album that has reigned supreme on the World Albums ranking is Love Yourself: Tear. It is now been up on the list for 82 frames. The album is now at No. 13 becoming one of the two re-entries from the group this week. The second BTS album of the World Albums chart is Love Yourself: Her and is only two spots behind the first. The group’s album with the third-most stays on the chart is the only other effort included in that series, Love Yourself: Answer, which has earned 77 stays on the roster thus far.
The 2018 release Face Yourself has been on the World Albums chart for 58 weeks. It is just a bit ahead of You Never Walk Alone which has been on the list 55 weeks.
The BTS album Map of the Soul: Persona is set to join this list soon. The album has spent 44 weeks on the list. Map of the Soul: Persona is down to No. 2 this time around. BTS’ upcoming album Map of the Soul: 7 is predicted to feature on this list very soon with the rave reviews it has been getting.
