Owen Wilson Joins the Marvel Universe in Disney+ Series 'Loki'
Hollywood star Owen Wilson has become the long list of Hollywood A-listers to join the Marvel Universe. Yes, The Cars and Zoolander actor is the new big-name addition to the cast of Loki, the Disney+ series starring Tom Hiddleston as the trickster demi-god and brother to Thor. Wilson is all set to bring his laid-back Texas drawl to the Marvel Universe with the new series.
Hiddleston had once done an impression of Wilson playing the part of his charming cosmic bad guy. Now he will be sharing screen space with him;
Which role Wilson will be playing is still not known.
Owen has been missing from the big screen since a couple of years. He was last seen being a supporting part alongside Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay in director Stephen Chbosky’s Wonder, an adaptation of the best-selling novel by R.J. Palacio. He also co-starred with Ed Helms in the comedy Father Figures that same year.
Looks like the Butterscotch Stallion rides again.
Filming is underway on Loki now. The series is expected to premiere in spring 2021. Loki will be executive produced by Kevin Feige. Michael Waldron and Kate Herron are also executives producing Loki. Waldron is writing the series and Herron will direct.
