Priyanka Chopra to star in Keanu Reeves Matrix 4?

The former beauty queen and global icon Priyanka Chopra might have bagged a lucrative Hollywood project. Rumours abound that actress may star in highly anticipated Hollywood film starring Keanu Reeves.

The fourth Matrix movie was announced back in August 2019. It will be directed by Lana Wachowski and has Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss reprising their respective roles as Neo and Trinity.

As reported by Variety.com, Priyanka Chopra is in the final stages of negotiations for the film and if all goes well, the fans will see the former Miss World in the Lana Wachowski directorial.

But the actress has not confirmed the news as yet. The Matrix film franchise has reportedly made around 1.6 billion dollars at worldwide box office.

Matrix 4 will also feature actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II of Aquaman and Watchmen fame in crucial roles. They will be joining Reeves, Moss, Jade Pinkett Smith and Lambert Wilson. The Matrix 4 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 21, 2021.

Priyanka Chopra made her US television debut in the much-loved series called Quantico. She was last seen in The Sky is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar. She will soon be seen in Robert Rodriguez’s Netflix movie ‘We Can Be Heroes’, as well as the streamer’s adaptation of the acclaimed novel ‘The White Tiger’. She is also developing an untitled Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor for Universal, which she will co-produce and star in.
