Maidaan New Poster: Ajay Devgn starrer to release on this date

Superstar Ajay Devgn is basking in the glory of his recent release ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. He has now treated his fans to a new poster of his upcoming sports drama. Taking to his social media handle Devgn tweeted the new poster.

“‘Maidaan’ Teaser – Get ready for Maidaan!” Ajay wrote while sharing the poster.

The poster focuses only on the muddied legs of the players, who are standing drenched on the football ground. The poster focusses on the determination of the players despite hardships. The announcement along with the poster revealed that the teaser will be debuted soon.

Maidaan is based on how the Indian football team, under the guidance of Syed Abdul Rahim, brought glory to the country during the years of 1952 to 1962. Ajay Devgn will play the role of Indian football coach and manager, Syed Abdul Rahim. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film also stars Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh and Gajraj Rao.

The sports drama is presented by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor and produced by Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta. Maidaan is scheduled to release on 27 November.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn also has a Luv Ranjan film with Ranbir Kapoor. He also has ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra.

Ajay Devgn will also be seen marking his debut in Telugu Film Industry with magnum opus ‘RRR’. The movie features Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Jr NTR.
