Camila Cabello apologized on Wednesday after old racist remarks resurface online
Singer Camila Cabello apologized lately on the Wednesday after old racist remarks resurfaced online recently. The pop star apologized for the racist post and it came one day after a Twitter thread broke the internet as it pointed out multiple racist as well as Xenophobic posts that Cabello allegedly shared on the Tumblr account between the year 2012 and 2013.
Meanwhile, though the singer didn’t particularly address the posts, she did offer an apology on the social media saying that she was, “embarrassingly ignorant and unaware” of her actions.
Camila Cabello took to social media twitter to apologize for the racist teenage posts.
She wrote, “When I was younger, I used language that I’m deeply ashamed of and will regret forever. I was uneducated and ignorant and once I became aware of the history and the weight and the true meaning behind this horrible and hurtful language, I was deeply embarrassed I ever used it. I apologized then and I apologize again now. I would never intentionally hurt anyone and I regret it from the bottom of my heart.” Check out the picture below.

Also, the former Fifth Harmony singer concluded on the note where she said that she uses her platform to speak up about topics such as on injustice and inequality and she will continue doing so.
“I can’t say enough how deeply sorry and ashamed I feel, and I apologize again from the bottom of my heart.”
